Press ReleaseAzule Energy and the Ministry of Health sign a Memorandum of Understanding to extend the project to strengthen cardiac surgery services throughout the countryLuanda, 8 October 2025 - Azule Energy and the Ministry of Health signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that marks the extension of Azule Energy's financing to the Cardeal Dom Alexandre do Nascimento Hospital Complex, for the start of the second phase of the Cardiology and Cardio-Surgery Services Reinforcement Project.The overall investment, estimated at 18 million euros, will be implemented, in partnership with the Monzino Cardiology Center, located in Italy, over a period of three years (2025-2028) and aims to expand the hospital's technical and human capacity, improving the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.In this new phase, the program will extend to the Benguela, Huíla and Huambo provinces. The objective is to decentralize access to specialized health care through the creation of the first National Network of Cardiac Surgery in Angola.The MoU was signed between Azule Energy CEO, Adriano Mongini and the Minister of Health, Sílvia Lutuca."For Azule Energy, this partnership is more than a social investment: it is a long-term commitment to Angola's human development.
