OIL
Deepwater oil and gas offshore Angola are Azule's largest production streams. In 2025 we produced approximately 210,000 boe/day, with current development plans projecting growth to around 250,000 boe/day in the 2026–2027 window.
Our operated portfolio spans 3 active production blocks, with five FPSO units.
Oil production
Our offshore production runs through a fleet of five floating production, storage, and offloading vessels, engineered for deepwater Angolan conditions with capacities ranging from 80,000 to 200,000 bpd.
Gas · NGC
Gas currently represents roughly 20% of Azule's production mix — and is central to Angola's domestic energy security and decarbonisation. Our flagship gas project is the New Gas Consortium (NGC), Angola's first non-associated gas development, targeting more than 300 mmscfd at plateau.
NGC supplies the Angola LNG plant and provides feedstock for the country's growing domestic gas economy, supporting power generation, industrial consumption, and the broader energy mix.
Solar · Solenova
Through Solenova, our renewables joint venture, Azule operates the Caraculo photovoltaic plant in Namibe Province. Designed as a phased 50 MW development, the project began producing electricity in May 2023. The first 25 MW is operational and feeding the national grid; the second phase is in development.
Caraculo is the first utility-scale solar plant in Angola, supplying renewable power to communities in one of the country's sunniest regions.
Angola LNG
Azule holds a 27.2% stake in Angola LNG, the country's only liquefied natural gas facility, located near Soyo. The plant has a liquefaction capacity of 5.2 MTPA and converts associated and non-associated gas (including NGC feedstock) into LNG for export.
Angola LNG is a critical piece of Angola's gas value chain and a key driver of Azule's contribution to global energy supply.
Azule holds a 42.5% interest in Namibia's Block 2914A in the Orange Basin, where exploration drilling in 2025 confirmed a hydrocarbon discovery. It's early days, but it represents Azule's first step beyond Angola, and the first scaled use of our exploration capability in a frontier basin.
