ANPG and Azule Energy inaugurate new primary school in Namibe Province

Press ReleaseANPG and Azule Energy inaugurate new primary school in Namibe ProvinceMoçâmedes, 9 December 2025 — The National Agency of Petroleum, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG), in partnership with Azule Energy and partners of the Cabinda Centro Block - ExxonMobil and Sonangol E&P - officially inaugurated a new primary school with 12 classrooms in the Bela Vista neighborhood, municipality of Moçâmedes, Namibe province.This initiative, integrated in the social investment program of the oil sector, aims to strengthen the local education network and promote the sustainable development of the region.The school will benefit more than a thousand students per year, providing better learning conditions in a safe and welcoming school environment.Joe Murphy, CEO of Azule Energy highlighted the company's commitment to local progress: "It is with great pride that we deliver another infrastructure that will benefit the communities of this province. This school joins 10 others already rehabilitated here in Namibe under our social responsibility agenda, promoting progress through job creation and access to education."The event was also attended by His Excellencies Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Dr. Diamantino Azevedo and Governor of Namibe, Dr. Archer Mangueira, as well as the Executive Administrator of ANPG, Alcides Andrade.About Azule EnergyAzule Energy produces more than 200,000 barrels of oil per day.
