Azule is committed to promote the sustainable development of communities in the country, in line with the Government’s development plans and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
We have a portfolio of diverse social which target key development areas across access to water, health, education, agriculture and access to energy.
Health
We are promoting better health today for a better future tomorrow, constructing and rehabilitating health units, training health professionals and supporting nutrition.
Education
By building and rehabilitating schools, supporting internships and scholarships, and training teachers, we are helping to shape the future of the country.
Access to water
With access to water projects that benefit health units, schools and enable farming with water systems, we are preserving the essence of life.
Access to Energy
We are enabling access to cleaner energy sources, installing small-scale solar systems in health units and schools.
Environment
Our environment projects for the preservation of mangroves and marine turtles are helping to protect our common home.
Demining
With our support for demining activities, we are promoting access to safe land and helped to fully clear the province of Benguela from landmines.
Economic diversification
By promoting agriculture and entrepreneurship, we are promoting growth.
Integrated approach
With integrated projects that have focus in multiple sectors of intervention at once, we provide broad, transforming and impactful support for communities.
Across Cabinda, Malanje, Huambo, Benguela, Huíla and Namibe, we are investing in what matters most to local livelihoods: agriculture.
Through our support to farmers and cooperatives, we are helping to strengthen food security, improve productivity, and create more resilient rural economies.
An Azule Energy team visited the Kitabanga Marine Turtles Study and Conservation Project in Longa, which is one of the environmental initiatives proudly supported by our company.
During the visit, colleagues from various departments learned more about the project’s conservation actions, community involvement, and the positive impact of our partnership in protecting Angola’s marine biodiversity.
