As part of our International Women’s Day spotlight series, we are highlighting the women who contribute to different dimensions of our business.
This week, we feature Polinadja Ramos, Senior Early Career & University Relations Recruitment Advisor within the Human Resources team.
Her role focuses on building strong relationships with universities and supporting early career talent acquisition initiatives, ensuring that emerging professionals have opportunities to grow while aligning talent strategies with the organization’s broader goals.
For her, working in Human Resources is ultimately about people.
“What I value most is the opportunity to positively impact people’s lives, helping them grow professionally and feel part of an organization that recognizes their worth.”
She believes HR plays a crucial role in strengthening organizations by bridging strategy and execution.
“By attracting, developing and retaining talent, we create a solid foundation for innovation, productivity and long-term sustainability.”
One aspect of her work that she believes makes the greatest difference for employees is active listening.
“When employees feel heard and see opportunities ahead, the impact on motivation and performance is immediate.”
Her decision to pursue a career in Human Resources was inspired during a study visit to a leading organization, where she was impressed by the empathy and professionalism demonstrated by an HR leader interacting with employees.
Throughout her career, she has navigated organizational changes and restructuring processes, experiences that strengthened her resilience, adaptability and strategic thinking.
Looking ahead, she encourages young women beginning their careers to believe in their value and continue investing in their development.
“Resilience and emotional intelligence are essential. Be persistent, keep learning, and don’t allow difficult environments to dim your light.”
Outside of work, Polinadja enjoys travelling, spending time with her family and exploring interior design projects. She also has a passion for dance and the arts, which inspire her creativity and bring new perspectives to her work.
When asked to describe herself in three words, she chooses resilient, determined and empathetic, which are qualities that continue to guide her work in supporting people and helping them reach their full potential.
