Employee Spotlight – Tatiana Guedes

Leading by empowering others

As part of our International Women’s Day spotlight series, we are celebrating the women contributing across different dimensions of our business.

This week, we feature Tatiana Guedes, Compliance, Performance & Vendors Manager within the Procurement function.

In her role, she supports operational excellence by ensuring strong compliance practices, performance monitoring and effective vendor management within the procurement function. Her work contributes to maintaining high standards across processes and partnerships.

For her, leadership is not defined by authority but by the ability to empower others.

“Leadership means lifting others up so they can go further than they imagined. True leadership is about building more leaders, not followers,” she explains.

One of the achievements she is most proud of is the recognition her team has earned as a trusted reference within the organization. It is a reflection of their collective commitment and performance.

Her professional journey has also been shaped by challenges and moments when things did not go as planned. These experiences, Tatiana says, have been some of the most valuable opportunities for growth.

“Failure taught me to pause, learn and improve. I also learned a lot by observing the people around me, both good and difficult examples. Above all, resilience has been key.”

Looking ahead, she encourages young women considering a career in the energy sector to remain confident and curious.

“Trust your voice, stay curious and build strong relationships. Learn continuously, seek mentors and support colleagues along the way.”

Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, dancing and spending quality time with the people closest to her.

For her, International Women’s Day is a moment to celebrate progress while continuing to advocate for inclusive workplaces.

“It inspires me to celebrate progress, amplify every voice and keep pushing for workplaces where everyone can rise with confidence and purpose. Female perspectives are needed, don’t hesitate to take your place at the table.”

Through leadership, resilience and collaboration, women like Tatiana continue to strengthen our organization and contribute to shaping the future of energy.
